This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person.
The Department of Finance at Texas Christian University invites applications for Open Rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full) Professor of Finance (tenure-track) in the Neeley School of Business for Fall 2026 or until filled. Faculty will be expected to produce high-quality research, participate in university service, and deliver high quality instruction in courses across the School's undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. Applicants for the senior position should have a well-established research track record with strong reputation, excellence in teaching, and the promise for continued high quality research and teaching. The position requires a completed Ph.D. in Finance or a related discipline. The applicant for this position should be capable of effectively teaching finance courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and strong research capabilities are required. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
Department Details:
The Department of Finance has 25 full-time faculty members. Finance faculty consistently publish in the leading finance journals. In past years, members of the Department of Finance have had papers published in the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, American Economic Review, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science, and other leading journals. The LKCM Center for Financial Studies enhances the quality, prestige, and national visibility of finance programs at the Neeley School of Business by providing research support for faculty, databases, industry partnerships, and assisting students searching for excellent employment opportunities in finance. Since 1973 the Neeley School has offered the Educational Investment Fund (EIF), a large endowment run entirely by students, offering them valuable investment experience working with fellow students to manage a portfolio of stocks and bonds.

The nationally ranked TCU Neeley School of Business has more than 3,500 students enrolled across undergraduate and graduate programs, with approximately one third of TCU students in its programs as majors, minors or advanced degree seekers. Departments include Accounting, Business Information Systems, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Management and Leadership, Marketing and Supply and Value Chain Management, as well as seven graduate programs including full-time, part-time and online MBA and MS degrees. The Neeley School was ranked No. 9 in the nation and No. 1 in Texas for highest starting salaries for undergraduates in 2022 (Poets&Quants, 2022).
